Braselton GA is a town in the metropolitan area of Atlanta, Georgia. It was incorporated on December 4, 1889, and is the largest town in Jackson County. The population was 8,148 at the 2010 census. Braselton GA is said to have been named for Harrison Braselton, the son of one of the original settlers.

Braselton has thrived as an economic center due to its location at the intersection of State Highway 53 and Interstate 85, which provides easy access to both Atlanta and Augusta.
